So, after months and months of looking for a VHS adapter for my old home videos, finally I had some success. I found it when we stopped at Kmart in Jackson. I took a moment to watch a few of them this morning and I was bawling like a baby. The one I chose to watch all the way through was Christmas of 1999. This was the year my mom was at my house for Christmas along with Dan, my dear Granny T. my Aunt Judy.
I now realize how precious these movies are, now that my mother and granny have passed on, it is one way to reflect back at the time we shared as a family. Almost bittersweet, but I am very thankful that I possess these heirlooms and they can be restored and passed on to my children to share with their children some day.
A home movie night is a must in the near future.
